Specialty Advisory
Global Mobility & Investment Migration Advisory
Investment migration moves fast. Programs open, reprice, and close on short notice, and a structure that made sense five years ago can create exposure today. Artisan Business Group provides independent advisory to two sides of this market — the sponsors, developers, and institutions who run migration programs, and the U.S. individuals and families weighing a move abroad. Our role is strictly advisory: we pressure-test decisions and clarify the landscape; we don't sell destinations, solicit investors, or offer securities.
Two sides of the same market
For sponsors, developers, and institutions
We advise on market intelligence, regulatory developments across Greater China and Southeast Asia, program positioning that withstands scrutiny, and compliant engagement with the overseas migration-agent ecosystem. Mr. Su also hosts the Migration Agent Professional Training Program, which raises the standard of practice across that network. Our work here is advisory only — we don't solicit investors, market or sell any offering, or take part in a capital raise.
For U.S. citizens and families
A second residency in Europe, a base in Asia, a citizenship program in the Caribbean — we help you understand the landscape before you commit. How the programs really differ, where the risks and trade-offs sit, and which questions to put to your own securities, immigration, tax, and legal advisors before you sign anything. This is decision-support and education, not investment, legal, or tax advice, and not a recommendation of any program or security. Our job is to help you ask better questions — and if the honest read is that a move doesn't serve you, we'll say so.
What we don't do
We don't solicit investors, offer or sell securities, market or promote specific programs or offerings, recommend any investment, issuer, or regional center, or take part in any offering or raise — and we don't accept transaction-based or success-based compensation. That independence is the point. When someone is selling you a particular visa or passport, their advice and their incentive run the same direction. Ours don't.
How we work
- 1
Understand the situation and the goal.
For a family, the real reason behind the move. For a sponsor, the program, the market, and the regulatory footing.
- 2
Read the landscape.
How the relevant programs differ and where regulation is heading across the jurisdictions in play — presented as information, not a recommendation.
- 3
Map the risks and trade-offs.
Residency obligations, exit costs, positioning that can withstand scrutiny — the considerations promoters tend to skip.
- 4
Frame the questions for your licensed advisors.
We don't replace your securities counsel, investment adviser, immigration attorney, or accountant; we make sure you walk into their office asking the right things.
- 5
Support the decision.
A clear-eyed, independent view you can take to those advisors — including, when warranted, the view that you shouldn't proceed.
Who this is for
Investment-migration sponsors, developers, and institutions — including EB-5 regional centers — engaging the overseas migration-agent ecosystem; and U.S. citizens and families weighing a second residency or a citizenship program abroad. Since 2010, Brian Su has advised more than 70 U.S., European, and Caribbean investment-immigration sponsors through structuring, positioning, and regulatory transitions, and now brings that same independent perspective to individuals planning their own moves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a licensed broker-dealer or investment adviser?
No. Artisan Business Group and Brian Su are not a licensed broker-dealer, a registered investment adviser, or a law firm, and nothing we provide is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell a security, a recommendation of any investment, program, or issuer, or investment, legal, or tax advice. Many investment-migration structures — EB-5 among them — involve securities, and those decisions belong with a licensed broker-dealer, a registered investment adviser, and qualified securities counsel, alongside your own immigration and tax advisors. What we provide is independent business, market, and regulatory advisory. We don't solicit investors, sell securities, promote specific programs, or take any compensation tied to a raise.
Do you sell or recommend specific migration programs?
No, and that's deliberate. We don't solicit investors, sell securities, market or recommend specific programs or investments, or take part in any offering or raise. That independence is the whole value of what we do. When someone is selling you a particular visa or passport, their advice and their incentive point the same way. Ours don't. We're paid to help you understand the landscape and pressure-test the decision — not to steer you into any program or security, which is exactly why sponsors and families both come to us instead of to a broker.
What's actually changed in investment migration recently?
A great deal, and quickly — which is the point of having someone watch it for a living. In roughly eighteen months: Malta closed its citizenship-by-investment scheme in July 2025 after the EU's top court ruled that cash-for-passports breached EU law; Spain ended its golden visa in April 2025; Portugal had already shut its real-estate route and has now stretched its naturalization timeline to seven-to-ten years; and Greece repriced its program sharply upward. In the Caribbean, the five citizenship programs are moving through the most coordinated reform in the industry's history — higher minimums, now roughly $200,000 to $240,000 depending on the country, a shared regional oversight body, and new physical-presence expectations. This is general information, not a recommendation; a structure that made sense in 2020 may not survive contact with 2026.
I'm a U.S. citizen thinking about a second residency — how do you help?
We help you understand the decision before you commit — and we do it as independent advisers, not as anyone's sales channel. Most people arrive anchored on a destination, a place they visited and liked or a program a promoter pitched. Our job is to widen the lens: how the programs actually differ, where the real trade-offs sit, and which specific questions to put to your own securities, tax, immigration, and legal advisors before you sign anything. This is education and decision-support, not investment, legal, or tax advice, and not a recommendation of any program or security. We don't replace your licensed advisors; we make sure you reach them with the right questions. And if the honest read is that this doesn't make sense for you, we'll tell you that too.
What do you do for program sponsors and regional centers?
Since 2010, Brian Su has advised more than 70 U.S., European, and Caribbean investment-immigration sponsors — including EB-5 regional centers — through structuring, positioning, and regulatory transitions. For sponsors, that means market intelligence on Greater China and Southeast Asia, a read on where regulation is heading, program positioning that can withstand scrutiny, and compliant engagement with the overseas migration-agent ecosystem. Note the word compliant. We help you position programs and build relationships the right way; we don't solicit investors, offer or sell securities, or take any part in — or compensation from — the raise itself. Securities and offering matters remain with your broker-dealer and securities counsel.
What is the Migration Agent Professional Training Program?
It's a program Mr. Su hosts for professionals in the overseas migration-agent ecosystem — the people who advise families and connect them with programs across borders. The premise is simple: a better-informed, more compliant agent network serves everyone, from the families making life-changing decisions to the sponsors running legitimate programs. It's educational, and it reflects how we see our role in this market — raising the standard of practice rather than adding to the noise.
